WakeBoarding!

It was beautiful out this September 22nd! Sun was out, air not too cold, water just perfect. Matt, Dylan, Dave, Andy, Nate and I went out on Muskego Lake for some great Wake boarding! My second time ever, I learned how to cut across the wake this time. Had some awesome spills and even caught some lucky air.

Although it was slightly cold as the sun went down, the water was plenty warm and the sunset made everything worth it. The sky was aglo with pinks and yellows and oranges. A perfect way to end the day.

My Twin Sister is Married!

Wheee!!! My twin sister got married last Friday September 10th 2004!!

Jessica has been dating Trae for about 9.5 years now. He’s always been a part of the family, but now it’s official!

The ceremony was tear jerking amazing. The classic organ played as we all walked in. All of us groom’s men escorted our bride’s maids to the front of the church. That’s when the bag pipes started blaring. It filled the whole room with this amazing sound and Jessica, my Mom, and step dad started coming down the isle. I thought I was going to make it tear free, but then Trae saw Jessica and started bawling. She looked absolutely gorgeous! Then Jessica saw Trae’s tears and started crying… then I saw Jessica’s tears and started crying. hehe good times. Thanks for the tissue Luke.

Following the ceremony we all piled into the stretch Expedition limo for some drinky drinks, fruit, and snacks. Nat also got to jump in with his camera. Stay tuned for those pics.

We went to the Milwaukee Art Museum and a park over looking lake Michigan for the official photos. Sun light was perfec,t, weather was perfect, everyone was looking great.

Afterwards we went to The Hilton for the reception where I danced my butt off with everyone else! I was pretty sore the next day, but it was worth it. My pics are mostly of the dance floor. Thank you for taking so many great action pics Manny! :)
Thank you everyone for making my sister’s wedding such a success and beautiful day!

Stay tuned for more pictures.

Murphy’s Law?

Well it started pouring like crazy about 10 min ago and I realized my car window was open. This morning I thought I’d be healthy and park the car on the far end of the parking lot to get a nice walk in before sitting on my arse for the day. Back to the rain… I began sprinting to the car and in a matter or 3 seconds I was completely soaked. Still on the mission to save my dry interior I continued on into the car, rolled the window up and then… done. Rain stopped, sun came out. I’m soaked. Drove to a closer parking spot and now I sit in my cube cold and wet. Air conditioning is much more noticeable when soaked.

Now instead of getting lazy with a short walk, I’ll just catch pneumonia instead :P

… hehee

Bionics ON!

Aha!! I am not crazy contrarty to what y’all have been thinking.

When talking about 80’s cartoons, more specifically favorite 80’s cartoons a typical conversation would start out with…

Others: “Hey do you remember Thundercats?”
Jacob: “Yeah! I loved that show… what about Voltron?”
Others: “Oh my gosh yeah that show was so radical! But I also liked GI Joe!”
Jacob: “Hehe yeah, hey do you guys remember Bionic Six?!”
Others: ” … ”
Others: ” … What are you smoking, never heard of it… ”

I have not yet met *one* person that remembers the Bionic Six! For the longest time I thought maybe I had made it up. A figment of my convoluted childhood memory, but today (dont know why today, could have been yesterday or 2 years ago) - today I finally typed those magic words into Google: “Bionic Six” and voila!

Eat your hearts out nonbelievers. It lives… er did for a good 2 years. 1987-1989 and was re-released on … ahem … the Sci-Fi channel (no i didn’t watch it, but would have had i known about it before and had cable :P) from 1995 - 1997.

Bouzouki!

We got a new puppy!! His name is Bouzouki! Pronounced “buh-zoo-key”.

My family picked him out from the humane society near Madison. He’s about 3 months old and is a complete joy. He likes to chew on stairs and any other protruding pieces of woodwork. He enjoys short walks in the yard and absolutely loves to cuddle. He also loves to stay in shape by crazy running around the house and yard. His favorite color is currently pink and he loves to chew on shoes. Hopefully we’ll get him to grow out of that habbit with his pink newspaper chew toy and other chewables. Somehow he managed to house train himself, we haven’t had once accident yet. He gets up and barks right away when he has to go out.

Bouzouki is also still a puppy and currently gets scared of new sounds and things he’s not used to. His favorite safe spot while outside is smushed up underneath the front door step. He’s quickly becoming more bold with the environment though!

Welcome to the family cute puppy!
