Back in The States

I’m finally back home after spending 11 days in Europe! I’m hoping to post some entries in a somewhat cronological order soon. I also have tons of pictures to sort through before making them web accessible.

I must say that this has been a fantastic trip! It was a prefect combination of being a tourist and also not being a tourist while getting some good R&R and drinking great beer. Special thanks to Katie for taking me in at Brno and planning a great Czech adventure!

Also uber special thanks to Dan for letting me stay with him in his flat overlooking the River Thames in downton London! Whooey!

I come back feeling alive, refreshed, recharged - a new me. It was a double bonus to come back to the beautiful weather. I left when it was still a little rainy and not quite as warm. This morning the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the breeze was perfect - instant grins for the rest of the day.

Memorial Weekend

This weekend was great! I hit up Milwaukee and saw some friends, then came back to madtown and had a mini getaway vacation at the Hilton. Thanks Zacgg2! You rock the hizouse. I put up some pics of the view from the 14th floor here.


… and continuing on the evironmental / weather note I walked across the street to grab some pics of the skyline on Monday. I think these pictures come close to showing why it is so special to live across the street from Tenney Park in Madison! I rent out Nat & Rachel’s condo. Good move you two! If the condo wasn’t a good investment (which it is!) the lake views are definitely priceless.
