Sing it!
So I’ve been taking voice lessons for a little over a month with Rebecca Olthafer. Things are going really well! My voice is opening up to notes I couldn’t normally reach without the lessons. Rebecca does a fantastic job! I especially like the stuffed animal practice audience to help get over the crowd anxiety ![]()
But tonight folks, I have a voice recital! Yes, you can come for free to see me in my voice geek glory! 6PM in the Humanities building. I will be singing an Italian piece entitled “Caro Mio Ben” and parental favorite “Oh Danny Boy” It should be a great time.
I’ve also had the pleasure of great embarassment this morning at work when a large bouquet of balloons showed up at the front desk for me. Katie, you rock, thank you so much! I’ve never gotten “Good Luck” balloons ever, and especially wasn’t expecting anything to show up at work! HA! We all thought they were for our co-worker since it’s her birthday. The “Good Luck” threw us off until we read the card…. yes good times.
